I am off the Vancouver Island on December 13 to stay with my Uncle while my Aunt has hip replacement surgery. I will not be back until 2011. So Merry Christmas to all of you and I really hope that 2011 is the best for you all.

Starting with some beautiful lilacs. I took a course a little while ago Pain Management and one of the things we were asked to do is make a promise each week to do something for ourselves, alot of the people said they would walk or do some sort of exercise, but I already do that so I picked stitching for myself as I was at the time doing alot of stitching for Hospice and my stuff was going by the wayside. Well when my course ended we were to pick a long term goal, mine being to lose another 20 lbs which i am almost 1/2 way there Yeah!! and my short term goal well I have almost finished and that was to clean off my stitching table and get these project finished. So here goes starting with a retirement present for our favorite librarian

We are also doing small purse size Kleenex covers and little bird house ornaments, and cute little ornaments kids love that are animals and hold candies will show pictures when they are done as well. Working on a tote for my daughter very beautiful material can't wait to work with it. Also working on a bell pull with Christmas frogs on it just about ready to start my frogs, others in the group SAL have a few frogs already finished, so I am a little behind.
