Bookmark Exchange

I belong to a little group and we just did an exchange where you had to do up a bookmark and buy a book to go along with it and My partner was Viv in UK. To the left is the bookmark she sent me and above are two of the one I sent her.

I am still here...

I have been sick for so long finally get over that to have waves of sickness come again I am so very tired of this. But finally feeling better and now to get back into my weight loss mode. I lost 27 lbs over 2009 with a total of 50 pounds now gone forever. Time to get back into this weight loss and get healthy.
I have done some sewing and stitching. Attached is a picture of the tote I made my sister for her birthday next month.


I was in an exchange in one of my groups but don't want to ruin Viv surprise so I will show a picture when it arrives in UK.
I have been doing some crafting for Hospice with a friend of mine and so far we have about 15 of these almost done. We are also doing small purse size Kleenex covers and little bird house ornaments, and cute little ornaments kids love that are animals and hold candies will show pictures when they are done as well. Working on a tote for my daughter very beautiful material can't wait to work with it. Also working on a bell pull with Christmas frogs on it just about ready to start my frogs, others in the group SAL have a few frogs already finished, so I am a little behind.

Worked on some wedding invitations for a friends daughter can't wait to see the final result of all that work. They should turn out great.
Olympics are on TV watched the Opening ceremonies and I was quite impressed they did a good job, and we are doing pretty good we have 1 of each medal I will be watching the ceremony tonight where they will give out the Gold medal. Well off to watch some more and stitch a bit. Chat soon

an update

I bought a new to me car and what a deal... a whole $100.00. I went out to the Ford dealer as they were having a 4 day sale. Wed one for 10,000 (out of my price range) Thursday one for $1000. which was a 2002 Ford Taurus, I wanted this car so i was out there at 10 to 8 as the sale started at 9, well a person got there 20 minutes before me so he got the car, but I went the next day and got the Friday $100. car which is a 1998 Ford Taurus Wagon which I love and it is in great shape and drives beautifully.
I will need to get all season tires for it as it only came with winter tires, and eventually I will have to get a new battery for it as my Grand Prix battery won't fit which is a bummer as that battery is not even a year old.
I have been doing a little stitching I finished a tote bag for my sister for her birthday in March, and I sewed a pair of PJ pants for myself with cute giraffes on them. I will get Savy to take a picture of me in them and post one soon. I am working on a bookmark for an exchange I joined in one of my groups, and also working on a SAL with Christmas frogs that are so cute.
Hubby has been home all week it has been so nice as I have missed him when he is gone for so long. He applied for a truck driving job but we haven't heard from them yet.
Well off to do my treadmill them some housework then stitching yeah! Take care all chat soon!

Happy New Year

Hello I am not starting the year off great as I have had a cold since the 23rd of December that just won't go away. As soon as I start to feel better then wham it is the sore throat back or cough etc...
I have a finish already I made myself a FOB.

I am also working on another one for myself which is a poem I found that I just loved and I have it almost all stitched then I will add a giraffe along the side and make it into a bellpull. I wish all my friends and family all the best in 2010.
